The US Navy and Coast Guard reported that they seized thousands of illicit weapons after stopping a small ship in the North Arabian Sea.
The cargo included advanced Russian-made anti-tank guided missiles, thousands of Chinese assault rifles, hundreds of machine guns, sniper rifles, grenade launchers and advanced optical sights.
The weapons will remain in the custody of the US military while they investigate the origin and intended destination.
